Baptisms & Luncheon This Sabbath
All are
invited to a picnic fellowship lunch this Sabbath afternoon followed by
the baptisms of Matthew Negley and Gabrielle Lyman. These two amazing
young people have decided to follow Jesus and we are ecstatic to
celebrate with them!! The picnic and baptisms will take place at
Sycamore Cove and will begin at 2:30 p.m. Please bring a dish to share
and come and join the joy.
LA Kings Game This Saturday Night
We
have a few tickets left for the Kings v. Blackhawks game THIS Saturday
night, November 26th. Tickets are $29 per person (but the price is
NEGOTIABLE as we want people to be able to enjoy this great game against
the current NHL champions.) If you would like to go to the game,
please sign up this Sabbath or contact Debby Moon ASAP.
Youth Sunday Soccer League
The Youth
Enjoying Sunday Soccer League (YESS) has ended for the Fall season.
However, YESS will resume playing in the spring and we hope to many of
our youth on the soccer field again.If you are interested in helping
organize in the Spring, please contact Pastor Simon or Jason Mosley.
The Place Christmas Party
We invite EVERYONE to our
annual Christmas Party NEXT SATURDAY NIGHT, Dec. 3d! This year's
festivities are at the Pacific Union Conference Office in Westlake
Village (2686 Townsgate Road) and will include a Christmas ornament
exchange, dinner, music and a special visit from Santa! Please join us
as we celebrate the birth of Jesus beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please bring
food or dessert to share if at all possible. We also invite you to bring
an ORNAMENT to exchange…and if you would like your child to receive a
gift from “Santa” we invite you to bring a wrapped gift for them as

Prayer Ministry - Do you want to pray or be prayed for?
Our
prayer ministry would like to pray for you! Do you have a request or
praise that you would like to share with the team? If so, we invite you
to stay after church and get prayed over or to pray over someone else.

Christmas Shoppe-Bring a gift or volunteer to help this Sabbath
It's that time of
the year again...we are gearing up to participate in this year's
Christmas Shoppe happening next month. Starting this week, you can
bring an unwrapped toy for an under-privileged child and deposit it in a
box in the church lobby. If you would like to volunteer to set up for
the actual Christmas Shoppe on Thursday or Friday night, December 8- 9th
or Sabbath, December 10th, please sign up or contact Debby Moon @ 805-689-1293.
This is a wonderful program benefitting families in Ventura County who
would otherwise not be able to provide presents for their kids.
Baja Fresh Donates to The Place - ANY day at any time!!
Eat
at Baja Fresh in Newbury Park and they will donate 25% of the cost of
your meal to The Place. There are flyers on the outside tables at church
for you to take and present when placing your order. This applies to
any meal on any day. Thank you Baja Fresh!
Women's Ministry
The Place Women's
Ministry is sponsoring a Spa Session provided by Spa Gals for the
amazing Mothers who are finding life-giving shelter and resources in
Ventura County's Lighthouse for Women and Children. We are partnering
with Pr. Rossi and NPAA to provide care for the mom's while their
children are attending a Christmas Party on Saturday afternoon December

Our next Women's
Ministry Monday Night Meeting is December 5, 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the
Sanctuary of The Place. Ladies of all ages are invited to come and join
us for worship and fellowship!
Men's Ministry
All
men are invited to "Guys Night Out" next Wednesday, November 30th. The
fun will be held at Sunil Ilapogu's home (1451 Menta Lane in Camarillo)
starting @ 6:30. There will be games and food.
