Interested in audio-visual ministry?
Do you have an interest in joining a creative ministry that supports the worship team and benefits our church? The Place Church Audio/Video Ministry is searching for volunteers to join our team. No experience is necessary - we will provide the training. We are simply looking for reliable people who are willing to learn and can commit to serving once every 4-6 weeks.
Video Team Needs
The video team position is open to volunteers who have attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to focus on the service during music worship, and sermon. As a video team member you will be responsible for preparing and organizing song lyrics, announcement, videos, and sermon texts utilizing MediaShout and Powerpoint software. This position requires team members arrive at the church by 8:15am to prepare video elements prior to band rehearsal.
Audio Team Needs
Our audio team is divided into two categories:
Lead Audio position requires the ability to work well with other A/V team members, worship leaders, and attention to detail. Some musical background is required so that balance and levels are appropriate for the venue. This position is available to those who have first shown high dependability as an Audio/Stage Assistant. They need to have the ability to setup and operate the audio equipment by themselves, in the event the assigned audio assistant is unavailable. Lead Audio team members arrive at the church by 7:30am to setup audio equipment and stay after church to coordinate tear-down.
Audio Assistants are crucial to the success of the A/V Team. Since Lead Audio positions require extended time before and after church, an assistant's help with set-up and tear-down is very valuable to getting the job done quickly and efficiently. Assistants also have the opportunity to be trained in house mixing, set-up, and sound to be promoted to Lead Audio. We’d like to schedule one Set-up Assistant to arrive at the church by 7:30am to assist the Lead Audio person with the stage setup. If enough assistants are available, a Tear-down Assistant will be scheduled to stay after church to break down the stage equipment (so that the early crew can leave.)
If the Audio/Video ministry interests you or if you simply have more questions about our team, please contact Grant Lyman @ 805-698-8143.
Share the love groups?
